Performance Tip
If your PC struggles with singleplayer, try multiplayer servers instead! In multiplayer, the server handles world generation remotely, which typically results in better performance on the same hardware. Server-side mods also download automatically when you join - no manual installation needed.
Download Troubleshooting
Experiencing issues downloading Hytale? Here are the most common fixes for download problems.
Download Stuck at 0%
If your download is stuck, use the relaunch button in the launcher to restart. Do this a few times until the download continues.
Quick Fix: Click the relaunch button 2-3 times. The download will resume from where it left off.
Run as Administrator
Close the Hytale Launcher completely, then right-click and select "Run as administrator" to restart it with elevated permissions.
Windows Tip: Right-click HytaleLauncher.exe → Run as administrator
Use a VPN
If downloads keep failing, try connecting to a VPN server in the United States or Europe before restarting the download.
Best Servers: US servers have proven most reliable for fixing download issues.
Clear Cache & Reinstall
As a last resort, uninstall the launcher, delete the Hytale folder in AppData, and download a fresh copy from the official site.
